Walk through Essen-Rüttenscheid
We're strolling through Essen's fancy food quarter. Try not to drool on the window displays! It's a great vibe for a walk and talk.
Grugapark Adventure
The green soul of Essen! A must-see featuring a horticultural show, park, and culture. Feel free to hug a tree or just enjoy the fresh air.
Re-Group!
Meeting up again to get ready for the grand finale. Let's gather the troops before our informal dinner.

Staying a Little Longer?
On Sunday the conference closes at half past noon. Your plane, train, ship or horse brings you back home on Monday? Or you simply have some time to stay a little longer?
Our Social Team has prepared a relaxing visit to “Zeche Zollverein”, a UNESCO World Heritage Site for 25 years!
Explore the Historic Maze
Essen and the neighbor cities grew by digging for coal a hundred years ago. Zeche Zollverein is one of the biggest coal mines and sits on top of a maze more complicated than an ant colony.
They have an incredible museum right on site about the history of our coal and the coal miners who built this region.
The Perfect Wrap-Up
And of course, there is enough to drink and to eat! Put a relaxing event at the end of the conference and enjoy the presence of fellow Toastmasters in this stunning historic area.
